Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction (ED) occurs when you can't get or keep an erection that's adequate for the sexual satisfaction of both partners. While almost all adult males have ED at least once in their lifetime, millions of men experience it regularly.

Doctors blamed erectile dysfunction on either psychological problems or the ageing process. Over time, this opinion has changed, and now medical professionals understand more about this complex condition. It is normal for you to take longer to become aroused as you age, but you need to get medical assistance if you regularly experience erectile dysfunction.

Dr Mkhize will determine whether you have other health conditions that could cause the issue. He'll ask about your medical history and your sex life. As part of your initial assessment, he may conduct the following:

  • A physical exam.
  • Blood and Urine tests.
  • A mental health exam.
  • An ultrasound.
